Hi Guys,

I wanted to take my Inspire to Melbourne, but I have a question.
Can I put the controller in my check in or do I have to put in carry-on?
I understand that the Inspire batterys (small ones) have to be carried on, but what about the controller? I left it at home because of this doubt.
Also can anyone tell me if the original Inspire case will fit into a 737-800 Australian plane for sure?
Cheers...

It's only "spare batteries" you need to carry on, those that are installed in an appliance are OK in the hold.

Correct. I checked my Inspire, 3 chargers, an installed TB48 battery (made sure it and the Inspire were OFF), and two controllers in a GPC case with me on a flight to Cancun from Boston a few days ago.

I had the case locked with TSA locks, and when I opened the case at destination I had a TSA inspection sheet inside, but all was well.

I carried on 2 more TB48's and 4 TB47's, also no problems.
