Looked around, but I could not find any good writes up on the dji 15mm, and the oly 17mm. I am thinking that the 17mm would be better, but would like to know thoughts, or reviews.

The 15mm lens that comes with the Inspire is really quite a good lens.

    Yes, it is.

There is virtually no difference in these lenses IQ wise on the X5. Which one you prefer will depend on the perspective you want, e.g. the Olly 12mm is significantly wider then the Pany 15mm, but there isn't quite so much difference perspective wise between the latter and Olly 17mm.

Some say that the Olly 12mm is an upgrade to the Pany 15mm, that is 'totally incorrect' in my opinion.

Personally, I think people worry too much about the lens quality and ought to think more about pointing the thing in the right direction..... at the right time... with the right settings.

    Thanks for chiming in!

I have been debating on getting the 12mm, but I can't see the value when I have the x3, and I do not film much in low light, or in the dark.
