I've just been watching some YouTube stuff shot at Stanage Edge with various aircraft.

A couple of the vids look decidedly dodgy with the craft coming close to and flying over rock climbers and walkers.

My question is, if the CAA rules are followed regarding distance to be kept from people not under your control, is it still legal to fly at places like Stanage Edge? I've checked various Peak District websites but cannot see any reference to the use of drones.

Can anyone keep me on the straight and narrow with this, please? Thanks

As long as you keep the appropriate CAA mandated clearances the fling at somewhere like Stanage edge should be fine...
