My recent mod project calls for flying with Inspire 1 Pro arms down. Not permanently, however, just to perform a specific task. How the bird behave in such scenario? Is it somehow less stable or flimsy or whatever? I could test this by myself, but the weather is too bad. Anybody was flying like that to share the knowledge?

Fly's fine with the arms down, actually can get a higher top speed. Only issue will be the feet getting into the field of view of the camera if you pan to far.

Nothing wrong with flying arms down, but you have to be carefull with camera movement. You will see those arms very quickly

Oh, I'm aware of this. After all it will downgrade the mighty Inspire to a poor little P3, talking about gimbal features only, of course.
