    Hi

Yesterday I took some pictures with the AEB function and edited them a bit. This is the result in HDR, was pretty amazed

Thought I would bump this thread with another HDR. This one was made from a singe file, stitched from 3 pictures (made into a panorama). Normally HDR images are made from several shots taken at different exposures, creating a 32 bit image which can be processed to ones tastes. The HDR process typically introduces a lot of noise so most dedicated HDR programs run a noise reduction algorithm on each image before they are combined. Another approach though is what I did here. By stitching 3 images together the final image came out around 6000 px wide (due to overlap). When this image is reduced to say 2000 px which is my standard web size, the additional reduction also serves to eliminate noise and improve sharpness. This link is a two image slide show showing the original image, and the HDR effect you can get with the dynamic range in the DNG file. I also added some ray effects.

    Greally nice HDR :)

Opened up your image in Camera Raw to see how it would look with less noise:

Open up both in 2 different tabs to see difference better. Anyway. good job! :)

Here are some shots I took yesterday. Not really the typical contrasty HDR, but I use HDRSoft's Photomatrix Pro's Exposure Fusion settings.

I'll have a lot more soon as most of the shots I'll do in the sky will be 5 shot brackets.
