Inspire 1 controller only charges when turned on.

If I connect the controller to the power source is doesn't charge - no indicator lights, and I can come back hours later and it hasn't budged. If I turn it on, I get the indicator lights progressing from left to right to indicate charging and it will indeed charge.

Is this normal?

Not in my experience. I would call DJI support.

Nope, something wrong there!

But what happens after 10 minutes? The remote has a built in 'safety' feature that if there is no stick input for 10 minutes then it will power down.
Does yours do this and if so does it continue to charge once shut down?
