Yup.
All UAV's over 250 grams have to be registered and also a flight plan must be lodged (and agreed) by the regional ATC
So clearly this one wasn't

Dude we all want to keep flying and going this distance over a highway is illegal in most countries, even if your country doesnt have these laws sharing it on a user group like this is going to promote others to do the same. End result is even more animosity towards drones, that could lead to them being banned or even more strictly regulated?
