OK then. Should I break my wife's heart and make her return the Kindle Fire she bought me and get the iPad mini? Seems like it won't work for the DJI app...!

Just bought an iPad mini 2. I have an iPad 3 already but that obviously won't work with the I1. Luckily I was able to find a refurbished model for $255 with free shipping on Amazon. Kinda sucks but oh well this tablet will be strictly be used for the I1.

I use the iPad Air 2 with cell service. No lag and a quicker processor. Got mine thru Verizon.
