Is the Wind 1 actually the Inspire 2?

Okay,

Why don't we just sit back and relax a bit, stop speculating, and just wait to see what DJI releases. Everyone seems to want to be the first one
on the forum to post what is new. More times than not it turns out to be just speculation and gets everyone in a spitting contest.
Let's all get along and enjoy our hobby. Everybody have a nice day.

Oh god - no it will not.
The Wind 1 does not possess retractable landing gear. It's price point is not conducive to selling to the mass market and it is intended for industry not commercial photgraphic applications.
You could be right about it being intended for industrial work and perhaps the price will indeed be high, however, from what I've seen in pictures anyway of the Wind 1, it DOES have retractable landing gear!
But if the price remains high then yes, it will be out of reach of most of us.

OK, I'm going to change the title of this thread since otherwise people will get completely the wrong idea and actually think the Inspire 2 has been released.
I will alter it to read "Is the Wind 1 actually the Inspire 2" - even though I know it isn't (I'm NDA'd) I'm sure people will speculate. :p

Thank you!

I am NOT trolling you idiot!
Just do a search for the Wind1 by DJI and you will see !
It will be the replacement for the Inspire 1.

The idiot here...if you take your own advice and research the Wind you will see that the Wind is a specialist custom drone based on the Matrice and by very nature not be the Inspire 2 replacement.

So...now tell us all why you are so emphatic about there being no Inspire follow up? If you have no proof then you are trolling and just want the attention. Having that as an opinion is fine but your dogmatic statement is blatant arrogance.

We all want to know the evidence that you are basing your statement on. Please enlighten the rest of us idiots here.

Really!

Just do a search for DJI Wind 1 and you will see it is the next replacement of the Inspire!

Just do a search on Google for 'Flat Earth' and you get all the 'proof' you want that it is actually is flat.

The (in fact very serious!) problem Google now faces, is that people making clueless assumptions are beginning to make up the bigger part of the search results. One of the reasons Ray Kurzweil recently joined Google to develop AI for them. Just google Ray Kurzweil if you don't know him :)

Proof? Even google 'NASA' and you still get hundreds of (unwanted)hits that claim to 'proof' that the earth is flat.
Thanks to you, Google just went a little bit further down that path. Anyone searching for Inspire 2 will stumble on your 'proof'.

More and more, search engines only serve people who already know the answer or are subject matter experts. The rest is led into the darkness of vagueness and assumptions.

See...18 hours since OPs last post and still no evidence despite being asked several times for it. He hasn't got any. So...the Wind is NOT actually the Inspire 2. This thread is going no where apart from in a circle, nothing constructive in the slightest.

I can't believe some of the posters here.
I'm just saying the Wind 1 will no doubt be the next machine that will replace the Inspire and Irish sights and Lake flyer are all up in arms about it. Yes, the Wind 1 will be more expensive but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
I don't believe there will be a major improvement to the Inspire. It could very well be dropped in favour of the Mavic pro and Wind. I also think that the Phantoms might also disappear soon.

As for the Google search, go wallow in your decadence, both of you!
The Wind 1 is coming, get over it.

I think it is the emphatic nature of your statements and that you see yourself most definitely the authority on this, that most would question. This is what comes across, so dont be surprised that folk bite back. If you had stated that 'in my opinion the Wind is the replacement for the Inspire' that would be acceptable as we all (most) respect opinions. However we are still waiting on the emphatic evidence that you base your assertive statements on. If you reply by saying you meant IMHO then all is well.

Just to chime in here - @White Airwolf without wanting to pour petrol on the fire and to keep things non inflammatory.

I think the problem stems from the fact that you started off with a thread title emphatically saying that the Mavic was 'The Inspire 2'. You then went onto say that there is nothing the Inspire can do that the Mavic can't.
People then replied (myself included) with a list of things that the Mavic can only hope to achieve.
You then appeared to change your mind and said the Wind 1 was the Inspire 2. This confused the situation somewhat and you remained adamant that there was going to be no Inspire 2 and that the Wind 1 was it.

I then changed your thread title to what it is now to save even further confusion (which your were grateful for).

I just think this thread is a little confusing for people and your insistence that the Mavic and then the Wind 1 is the Inspire 2 and there is not going to be an Inspire 2 has fanned the flames somewhat.

I will give people (and the OP) and opportunity to respond and then I believe this thread is best closed to keep everyone's blood pressure stable. :p

ridiculous statements, your obviously trolling for attention.

No I'm not!
As the Editor says, time to close this thread.
Perhaps I should have said , in my opinion, I agree.
But what is done is done!
Time for the next topic.

Truer words have never been spoken! There seems to be a crowd here who are always trying to be "first" with some ridiculous speculation.
Here's a crazy idea...how about waiting for DJI to make announcements instead of creating your own???
