I wonder if the FAA ever thought about using a drone in high availability to be dispatched around airports in response to people pointing lasers at aircraft. A faster response time, better detection of a laser pointer, & a drone would be irresistable as an object to point a laser at. No matter what, it'd be cheaper than a bell 206 with a pilot...
