How can i set this mode
it says in the manual that one can choose CE or FCC mode, but how?

Up to 5 km or 3.1 miles (unobstructed, free of interference) when FCC compliant
Up to 3.5 km or 2.1 miles (unobstructed, free of interference) when CE compliant

CE mode.

It makes very little difference. Regardless, flying further 2-3kms away leaves you very little airtime to do anything other than fly in a straight line in one direction, turn and head home. Not terribly exciting.

But if that's your thing, buy an Itelite antenna for $100 or so. Nudged 7kms out and back on my P3 with that antenna. Again, using CE mode.
