This seems like a silly question. I now have a second drone that I want to register with the FAA. I've found my first registration on the FAA site but can't for the life of me figure out how to register the second one. It's my understanding that each drone needs to be registered, and not one registration per pilot. Is this correct?

You use the same number for all of your drones.

Unless you are operating commercially, then each one needs to be registered.

That's correct. You'll need an N-number instead of using the sUAS registration service though.

What did you end up with for a second drone?
