V1.6.2.1 is supposed to fix the internal mic sound recording problem
The sound is a little better but it won't blow your socks off

Due to the sound the mount makes it would be good if they used noise cancellation to reduce the recorded sound. And, since they will know where the sound is coming from it could be possible to more completely remove the sound through cancellation.

Thanks for the post, Brian. Even with the upgrade the sound of my voice at 2" sounds like I'm in the next door room with a pillow on my face. I honestly don't think I'll be using the Osmo to capture sound but might use it to sync to sound from my Zoom H5. The FlexiMic gives a much better result than the internal mic. My point was that the upgrade did not address the problem it was meant to.
