Good to know. I have the P2V+ and it seems to report ASL. Whenever I startup, I always look at the reported altitude in my app and it's always 50+ feet in my area when on the ground (I'm in North Carolina which is very low). I'll be getting the Inspire 1 in a couple of weeks and will have to pay attention to that.

I have hound dogs that I trained for search and rescue and they will track anything I get them on,
I have thought about strapping a chunk of meat on the I1 for the dogs if it crashes deep in the woods
