I have read a number of comments regarding the sensor in the P3P and X3 that suggest that NOT following the perceived wisdom of doubling the frame rate eg 1/50th for 24 fps rather selecting a speed in the range 1/100th to 1/200th significantly reduces unwanted artefacts such as moire etc.

I am well aware the X5 sensor is larger but just wondered whether people have found that for opting for a higher shutter speed rather than 2 X fps gives a better result? Or do we start seeing the negative result of rolling shutter?

Your thoughts, experiance and comments would be most welcome.
Cheers,
Michael

I can say that with the Phantom 3 Pro putting the shutter in the 100 to 200 area is definitely good advice. Doubling the frame rate almost gives it a choppy look.

With the X5 though I always double the frame rate, gives it a more cinematic feel.
