Osmo versus new Sony handycam

Sony are about to release a handycam with 5 axis intelligent stabilisation. Looks like it will be ideal for those wanting to take general stabilised videos. Has excellent audio and great performance in low light plus 20x optical zoom. Maybe not as stable in full action as the Osmo but may suit those wanting extremely steady 4K videos of general living stuff. A giant leap forward over conventional handy cams.

Forgot to mention model is Sony FDR ax53 and FDR axp 55 the latter of which has a built in projector
 
Nothing new, they're upgrades of last year's the AX(P)30 series that were also 4K (albeit 60Mbps instead of 100 for the new ones) and the technology has been around in some of the the CX series models for 4 years.

It's a whole different category than an osmo, not because it's "stabilized" that you can directly compare them. Both have their uses, but not really the same ones.
