Permission to fly aerial work in China

Hello,
I am finding it a little tricky to find out what the law says about flying sub 7kg drones in China is.
I have a PFAW in the UK and am travelling to China in August. I would like to take my Inspire and shoot a few shots for our Showreel. I will be in Chengdu and Zhuhai and then later in Hong Kong ( i have found out a bit more about flying here.) Any thoughts or locations in these cities appreciated.

Never been hassled there. Pretty lawless land in terms of drones at the moment. Be sure to swing by Shenzhen to the DJI flagship store

@jmkreege sounds like Mexico lol. I flew next to a Mexican army convoy and they stopped to check it out and was loving it lol.
