    Actually, from the article and depicted (FAA) map, it does say above 50' from out to 253 NM with increasing altitudes past that. Appears much of the SoCal coast will be affected.
    Got sum Atti-skilz?

    Man, that's one huge footprint! I do not see how or why they need to affect so large an area, and I'd guess this is only one of many such "tests" that are going to happen.

    And, as the article reported, I suspect it will be a combination of offensive and defensive tests of both jamming capabilities and anti-jamming tolerance. I doubt this is aimed at drones per se, but no doubt drones are part of the picture.

    I see an associated thread below, looks like there was a similar test back in March near the South Carolina coast...I'm just not going to fly on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the rest of the month, it looks like that's the schedule.
