I am looking for guidance to setting voltage protection in the A2 assistant software. I used the reccommended setting for my 1st configuration and it triggered the first level protection (blinking red) after 7 minutes.

1st Configuration:
S900
17.2 pounds (7.8K)
Battery:
16,000 mAH
6S
22.2V
355.2 Wh

2nd Configuration:
S900
18.6 lbs (8.43k)
Battery:
22,000 mAH
6S
22.2V
488.4Wh

Ummmmm......this is an Inspire Forum :p

Anyway, to answer your question, I do not bother with any of the faffing of setting the load differential as I find it to unreliable.
The best method I have found is to set your voltage differential to zero and then experiment via telemetry to set up your first and second stage thresholds at your preference but to the same figure.
If you are not monitoring on mAh consumed then you have to do best guess based on pack voltage.
You want to have the pack spring back to around 3.7v per cell once load removed and it has rested for 20 mins or so. Then measure how many mAh you are putting back in the pack and you are looking for approx 80% returned.
