Slow Position Update for RC Controller

When preparing for a flight at new locations the Inspire 1 acquires a good GPS lock in less than a minute with the red arrow appearing on the Pilot App map. The controller however can take 5-10 minutes to get a GPS lock and appear as the blue dot on the map. Today I failed to get the RC controller to lock on probably due to being close to a pine forest.

Do other users experience similar slow position updates? Do you have any tips on improving the times?

PS. I am operating a 57deg N in Northern Scotland so most GPS satellites are to the south.
