It was for hand catch but then I modified it to be a battery mount for the batteries to site on.

I use three type of mah batteries ,first start with dual nano tech1500mah ( X3 ) these can fly safe to reach 7km one way in both way 14km.
Then Is the dual nano tech 2200mah ( with X3 ) these can safely reach 10km one way and 20km return.
Now I am working on the nano tech 4500mah ( is for the X5) , because of the weight and C.G never can get a reasonable flying time. 50% left will give me 11mins which is bad. So I change the mounting location ( like the attachment ) also relocated the VPS now it increase to 16mins for 50% of battery left. Later on, I might buy a Heyperion G7 5400 Lipo HV to test, because it is a 3.8V type of batteries I am sure It will gain another 5 to 6 more mins. The others might have gone pass 30+ but I would be very satisfy with 25mins @35% .
