holds it snug in place. the holders were designed to fit ipad and less then 10.1" tablets... it's missing about 3 cm if i am saying not too much...

I did my pics all with my samsung galaxy s4 active and tapatalk 
I do not know if it is smaller... should not be though since it is a 10.1" no?
strange... but I ran into this problem and I was able to 3D print it.
when you manage to put up the pic I'd be happy to see it. I tried to "squeeze" it into the holder carefully but would break the whole thing so I will be continuing to use the adaptor
