Yesterday, I had a strange issue;

After flying.. (with no issue's beside a short "gimbal overload" which was due to the sand from the beach we were flying..)

..we were walking back with the Inspire v1 in one hand.. box in the other one..

Suddenly while walking we heard the Inspire making the sound as it was switched on !

But everything was switched off already for a few minutes.. And there were no led's on either.. only the sound.

We had it twice that day.. and heard it both so we were sure.

I could not find this issue on the forum, but is this something familiar ?

(Have to look up my firmware.. some of a few months back)

Regards,

Jasper

Sound probably came from your cellphone and sounded similar.

With the battery turned off there is no way for it to get power to make any sounds.

Yes, I know.. It's should not be possible..

But because we both heard it twice that day.. and we are not crazy.. well maybe we are..

Was asking it anyway.. because maybe there was something..

Thanks for reply..

Was it windy when you were carrying the Inspire back to the car and did the props rotate?
There have been (very few) reports of incidents where the back EMF caused by rotation of the motors in these conditions brought the aircraft to life (allegedly).

Yes, it was windy ! 11m/s up to 18m/s :)

So yes props were spinning rapidly when walking back ! Was lucky I was paying attention..

And the sounds was at that moment indeed ! It must be the reason !

Thanks !!
