I've been using my X5, bought new in June, with a Panasonic Lumix f1.7, 25mm lens and more recently also with an Olympus Zuiko f1.8 45mm lens. I have now started to get this 'vibration' on start-up and often when I use the gimbal. This can lead to 'Gimbal motor overload' which has now happened on two occasions. Here are a couple of videos of the problem.

Anyone any ideas?

I've tried calibrating the gimbal and IMUs but still have the problem.

My first thought is imbalance. Have these lenses been balanced properly? When turned off, the camera should remain pointing straight ahead. No front / rear or side to side movement. If imbalanced, the gimbal motors will overwork and burn up rather quickly.

I used the 25mm for three months with a UV filter, slightly 'nose' heavy but with no problems. Then I bought the Olympus that is rather 'tail' heavy and with that just used a filter. Had no problems with that for a month, It's all developed in the last couple of weeks. Even when balanced there is still intermittent vibration. For the price of these products one would think there would be built in durability. To me, having to stick on coins etc., gives the impression of a piece of junk!
