I've always had an issue with both installing and removing the two props with the "white" dots as they seem to have much more resistance than the ones with the red dots. Although I've had several sets of props, all have had similar results.

This is inherent in them. The red dotted ones are a tiny bit loose and the white dots tighter. This appears to go back to the molds used to make either the props or the hold down clips. Push down on the center of the prop when turning the release clip if not doing so already. Also make sure there is no dirt or other matter in the socket on the underside of the prop. Hope this helps.

Other than pushing down on the center, no. That is what I do and it seems to help.

What I meant to say is after I turn the clip to its release position, it take quite a bit of effort to pull the prop off, quite a bit of twisting and turning to finally get it to pop off the hub.

Ive already tried replacing them, oh well, I'll just have to be careful not to break anything.

Hmm... interesting. On mine, the ring is a little tough to rotate, but then the prop comes right off. It is a little snug, but not restrictive. The old set did the same thing? (Obviously, or you wouldn't have changed them out.....)

I feel a bit better now, signed in to create a post about the reds semingly wearing out faster.... I've put a lot of flights them, thinking either way it's time for a complete change out. I have one V1 and one black edition both with T's and have each of the problems stated above. The black edition only has 17 hours or so and the props come off easily (when desired). I converted the V1 i1 to 1345T's approximately 35 flight hours ago and I've got to pry/wiggle them off. I swapped blades and the "problems" stayed with the perspective hubs. Like any aircraft inspect inspect inspect and then remove and replace before it breaks.

I had one completely stuck on it was that tight; a pair of pliers eventually got it undone and then replaced the clamp unit for a few quid.
