hello all ive just got a inspire2 with x5s do I have to pay $1000 to use the cinessd or should the inspire come with an activation code

Hi @toonarmy – Welcome to InspirePilots. If you purchased the Inspire 2 Premium Combo the aircraft will come with the licenses pre-loaded, along with a Zenmuse X5S Camera. If you just purchased an Inspire 2 and then bought the X5S with it (a-la-carte) and you would like to shoot in ProRes and CDNG, you would need to purchase the license activation codes separately.

No problem. 4K in the H.264 or H.265 Codec can be recorded to the Micro SD. Below are all of your options for recording to a Micro SD.
