Hey ya'll.

Just wanted to let you know I got a call from Dronefly this morning and they are shipping my Inspire 1 out to me today! I pre-ordered this on day 1, so I'm extremely excited. Feeling like a little kid in a candy shop, even at the age of 35 ;) IT IS HERE!!!

Congrats man! I just got an email from Dronefly that I am in the second batch so I will have to wait another week or so before they ship mine. [emoji25]

I just received an email from drone source, they will be shipping mine out Tuesday of next week woohooo!!!!!! Can't wait

I'm not sure if they are or not. I ordered though Amazon and they have great review score though Amazon. Plus I've been back and forth with them though email and they have been very good so far, with answering all my questions

Oh I'm sure they're great. But I've been down the warranty issues because of not purchasing from authorized dealers before. With 3k on the line, for me it matters big time. But who knows if it would factor in anyway. I don't mean to spoil things for anyone. Rock on.

Yes drone source is a auth dealer I ordered mine from them too I also got an email they get the inspires in this Tuesday then ship them out

I've seen two places make the claim but do not show on the dji list. Now, maybe their list doesn't keep up to date. I would hope that's the case. But I just put a deposit down with uavdirect, who is on the dji list of authorized dealers. For me, an authorized dealer is a must.

I ordered from drone source on jan 3rd i just checked amazon and it says shipping today or tomorrow so we will see. as for them being a authorized dealer. if any company buys form a manufacture below retail that makes them a authorized dealer. maybe not a top tier dealer but authorized to sell there products witch also means DJI must uphold there warranty. Time will tell all.

I ordered from Amazon threw drone source dec 6 I think ordering from Amazon comes faster than from Dji go figure tracking #today

I sent drone source a email through amazon they stated they are a authorized dealer and they have not gotten there shipment in yet but expected it this week.

On Amazon, there are both. "The drone source"
And. "drone source"

Two different companies??

Drone source is Dji dealer so you say it's better to buy from Dji there your inspire

That comment is completely off. If they are not an authorized dealer, DJI will not honor warranty issues. I've been down this road before I started buying from Dronefly. Anyone can "claim" to be a dealer now a days.

Actually it's not and by law is true. How would they otherwise buy from a company below retail I'f they were not part of there retail chain. ? But anyways they are authorized dealer look under drone nerd. That is there legal name they sell under drone source on Amazon.

I'm still curious how two of their listings in their store front for a single remote inspire package shows pre order and one listing shows in Stock. Which is it?

Definitely a risk buying something like this from a "unauthorized" dealer. I've purchased items from Amazon that have broken within the warranty period, contacted the manufacturer and was told their warranty was void because of where I bought it. Seems like a great deal for the manufacturer since at some point one of their authorized dealers did buy it from them of course, but that dealer apparently sells it to another "dealer" for a quick though likely small profit?

What I wonder is how many pre productions are floating around that are being sold as in Stock.
