I appear to have encountered my first Inspire 1 firmware upgrade nightmare...

I have just successfully upgraded the DJI Go app to 3.1.2 and the RC to 1.7.60 (in that order).

I then attempted to upgrade the aircraft and camera to 1.10.1.40. All appeared to be working, but then I got the continuous note which indicates the upgrade had failed (first time I've ever had this). When I checked the .txt file, though, it said "success".

But I am getting no image from the camera (X3).

Any thoughts or suggestions would be incredibly welcome at this difficult time in my life...

Go back to 1.9... :)
I've never gone back to previous firmware before as I've never had any problems with an update previously - is it just a matter of downloading 1.9 and installing in the normal way? Or is there a different process for downgrading?

And presumably it's OK to leave the app at 3.1.2 and the RC at 1.7.60 if I go back to 1.9 on the aircraft?

Thanks very much for your help!

Aye, I am running the latest iOS and RC (as did it automatically) but I have not upgraded the firmware as 1.9 works absolutely fine for me for the time being. The previous version of the software is on the DJI website, just make sure you pick the firmware version for the x3 :)

Since updating to 1.10.1.4 my batteries overheat and have short life. I had not used the batteries for a couple of months. Have tried running them down and then doing a full discharge with my Smartcharger, but it is still the same. Could it be a firmware issue? How do I go back to 1.9 to prove the theory?
