Another high quality LED strobe option is the PicoMax from Aveo Engineering. We've been using these on larger aircraft and industrial as well government users have preferred these as a bit cleaner/robust solution than the exposed PCB nature of the Firehouse strobes. Can't beat the price and output of the Firehouse strobes though!

Aveo has been manufacturing lighting for commercial and private aircraft for many years and within the last year introduced a few UAV options. Here is a video review of them from DroneU:

I've been using the Strobon units. Green/Red/White.

They have an authentic light signature and can be placed on the booms in areas that don't affect the exposures from the camera unless it's very humid.

The video is jut an example, not my bird.
