How to enter travel mode without VPS installed?

Hi guys, I have removed the vps to make room for my aux battery. Now, entering travel mode via app or RC switch does not work.

Any ideas pls how to enter travel mode ? Thanks.

Based on your post, I would say that it must use the VPS to go into and out of travel mode.

Manually manipulating the main screw gear somehow may work...but, I wouldn't mess with it myself without knowing manual manipulation doesn't mess something else up.

Besides...even if that works, sounds like a huge hassle each time.
