I'm curious how you get this idea from the article.....an advanced military energy directed weapon taking down a (probably) Mohajer-4......in what way does this translate to attacking consumer drones?

My comment wasnt made to seem like it was to be used against drone owners like us. My son is an EOD and served in Iraq and he said mavic and phantoms were a real threat to static positions like bases. My point is that it reads that its just like the consumer level anti drone devices that just uses rf Interference to overpower the controller signal. I was being sarcastic about how much money the Gov spends on seemingly off the shelf technology but never mind I guess.
