So I finally got to play with my bird toaday[emoji4] and noticed when I take it out of gps mode it drifts horribly to the right at about 1 mile per hour. It will do that indefinitely.
2ndly I noticed that when I try to do POI it will start very slow but if I try to increase speed it stops and goes to hover. Here is a picture of it in flight. Does it appear the right side needs adjustment

It WILL drift with the wind out of GPS mode - That's what it's supposed to do!!!!
What did you expect would happen?

But it drifts the same way even when turned around

In that case you probably need to do another IMU calibration and make absolutely sure it is on a level surface and gets no vibration etc while going through its calibration.

It would drift with the wind no matter what way you turn it, that's just what happens with no GPS or in atti. It sounds to me that you really need to have another good read through the manuals. What your describing is kinda basic stuff. Sorry.

Sorry what I meant to say is it drifts towards one side regardless it's direction. Not the same direction but to the side that looks a little off. No wind.
Also I take off from an elevated spot an therfore when I reach the pond area it's height is off about 20 feet. Is there a way to reset that in flight to correspond to the correct altitude?

What do you mean it's height is off by 20ft? If the pond is lower than your take off point your AGL when at the pond will be more...just the way it works...if that's what you meant.

Did you follow the previous advice from @The Editor and a compass calibration? Do that and then come back.

Think you meant IMU calibration - that's what I said. ;)

When I get out to the pond area it shows me lower then 0ft height. I can actually be -15 ft or so when I get out to that area. The pond is man made and has a large berm around it.

I figured that's what the VPS sensor is for. I know there been some issues with flying over water and such but I was sure to get a measurement out past the water line.

I will do an imu calibration tomorrow and see if that helps any

I forgot the other issue. I1 was doing tiny circles when hovering not more then say 10"-12" no wind 3 ft off ground with grassy area.

I thought the flying over water issue only was a concern in ATTI mode, but not GPS mode. No?

I haven't tried it...I'm landlocked...but, curious, just in case.

Then you have a bad compass calibration also and your aircraft is exhibiting TBE (Toilet Bowl Effect)

You need to carefully read through some posts on this forum as all your "issues" have been covered many many times before and what you are asking is pretty basic stuff that is either in the manual or already extensively explained on this forum.

Thanks
