I have been waiting for this from Opale for a while.

Parachute and launcher 220g.

You need to add a mount, a independent transmitter/receiver and a battery which will total about £500 all up.

Opale Parachutes Drones - Safetech ST60X 4.9KG

Having looked at the MARS parachutes I found them to be very low tech and the parachute itself to be a very cheap design. I have ordered the Safetech ST60X having seen Opale parachutes before so I am hoping to be very impressed.

The system is cheaper and lighter than the mars system and as the spring is held at the bottom by the servo so the parachute is not squashed when packed. By removing the flip lid I think it may even deploy quicker.

I will put a mini review on here when it arrives - I might not be an actual drop test on my inspire pro though!!

If I had the cash for this system, a mayday box, and a receiver/emergency transmitter I would order it all today. I use my drone for fun/hobby not commercial use, so expenditures need to go through the family counsel tribunal. (Wife) Same reason I don't have a corvette stingray. :)
