At 600ft and above the i1 no longer records video or photos:mad:
I wonder which firmware it got slipped in on. Wise move this should deter irresponsible behavior. No point flying in the clouds if you can't get photos:p

Can anyone confirm. Should have been a major announcement.

Interesting though. It would help a lot to keep a lot of high flying folks closer to the ground. Now if they also would cut off the video when outside VLOS, unless one has a IFR rating (it's coming)......

FAA has maintained the rule that UAVs must remain within the visual line-of-sight (VLOS) of the remote pilot, reinforcing the relevance of the Epson and DJI partnership.
I like the idea of glasses that offer a heads up display for the telemetry, and give a view of the actual framing, while maintaining VLOS. It's much safer than VLOS ONLY.
