Although there were two questions on the test I took that were never mentioned in the course. I still passed, but expected a higher score.
Congrats on passing but I can't tell if you're blaming the study course for your grade or not. Test material is constantly changing to prevent cheating so I think it's unreasonable to expect a prep course to give you all of the questions you might encounter.

I get that the questions are updated and it isn't like all the questions are published, but one of the questions was completely out of left field. I had never heard of the term the question asked. And I also prepped using the FAA study guide as well, although I mostly concentrated on the remote pilot 101 course.

No big deal, but really messed up my concentration. Maybe that's the point of the question though too?

They throw 3 new question on test to see responses like your eventually they will be included them on regular bases after all 70 you pass and now is a everyday learning process to inpruve your skill got 2 yrs now before next test

I took the DartDrones class and it was helpful, but mostly for reasons other than passing the test. The 8 hours of classroom time was just too short except for lightly touching on all the areas of knowledge. What was really helpful, we had a licensed pilot with military helicopter experience who added all sorts of personal experiences, tips and ways to fly safe.
For really understanding the material, for both passing the test and, most importantly, for actual flight, knowing where you are in commercial airspace and interpreting charts, I found the following FAA documents to be the best:
1. Aeronautical Chart Users Guide and 2. Remote Pilot- sUAS Study guide (FAA-G-8082-22. Both are free and downloadable from the web.

I got questions that weren't covered by remotepilot101.com but the information he provided in his lessons prepared me to answer them correctly. It's one thing to answer practice questions but it's totally different to teach the proper way so the student can work through the problems themselves. Completely worth it to pay for quality.

I self-educated with YouTube videos on METARS, TAFs, and VFR SECTIONAL CHARTS. FLY8MA.com has good videos with good audio. Read through the part 107 rules, then took RP101 to tie it all together, and mostly because they said they were questions straight from the test. I found this out to be not even close (maybe 6) but passed easily anyways though, as someone who is a good test-taker, I found it more difficult than expected.
