Just looking for some help with this system. I'm using the drone for industrial inspections and want a power zoom lens. I've ordered these pieces but what balance ring do I need. Is there anything else I need? Just sending picture and video data to micro sd

For inspection it should be fine. For filming it's very poor. Lots of distortion, bit blurry at times and vibration when zoomed in. You dont need anything else.

@chadunca - You would need the Part 3 Balancing Ring -> DJI Zenmuse X5S Balancing Ring for Panasonic 14-42mm, F/3.5-5.6 ASPH Zoom Lens – Part 3. Unfortunately it looks like this ring stocked out today, sorry about that, should restock in about a week.

Let us know if we can be of any further help.

You don't necessarily need the balancing ring, I use a 37mm to 46mm step up ring and then an ND or UV filter. This balances pretty well around the mid point of zoom (although will depend upon which brand of UV/ND you use). However, if you use the balancing ring you will generally be too heavy with an ND/UV as well.

I do have balancing ring for the Panasonic 14-42mm that i Do not need as I gave the lens back due to issues I mentioned in previous posts I could send it to you for a buck (to cover stamp cost)
