Your article is helpful but there is something else I am yet to discover that causes jitter. In all my video that shows moving vehicles they all jump/jitter with no smoothness at all. Yet on TV produced video fast or slow pans moving cars etc they are all smooth as silk. Don’t get it!

I have noticed now the restriction has been corrected since the go app updated itself a few days ago. Free at last.

That is good to know as FW upgrades can sometimes bring unwanted outcomes.

If the previous FW could be reinstalled which I understand isn’t possible it would make the diagnosis of this issue easier.

That’s really interesting as I have always assumed it was FW as it appeared to start shortly afterwards. The go app could of course been updated at around the same time confusing the source of the problem

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the next FW update addresses this issue but does not introduce new problems.

This is a bit of a bizarre problem as my iPad is also running latest OS and the Inspire latest firmware but the 30/30m restriction issue manifests itself on every flight. I have the cellular version of the iPad 2 Is this fault connected with data enabled iPads. Just a thought.

It’s a bit frustrating with such a great bit of kit that after installing the latest firmware the go app needs to be closed and opened on each battery change to prevent the 30m limits from reappearing. It’s also easy to forget to do this so requiring to return and land the craft to close/open...

That sounds like a good solution. Never considered the camera was not set to camera mode. In video mode providing it set to 4K many cameras are able to produce a large sharp images at 12mp. I have not played with the x4s so would not be aware if it is able to do this. Sent from my iPad...

I do not own a x4 s but have understanding of DJI cameras in general. To yield the largest file size in jpg set 3x2 format. 16 x 9 is not far behind but the 3x2 should produce 20mp images. The x4s does not appear to have size selection such as s,m and large DSLRs so this may not be the issue...
