How in the world do I get the camera to focus?

Presumably you have done a lens calibration as per the manual?
A little more information would help. eg, what lens are you using, what steps have you tried, was it taking in focus shots and now it isn't etc

I've never used the x5 with autopilot before.
I've switched between auto focus and manual but I really don't know how to set the focus?

I'm using the dji 15mm lens and everything work just fine in both dji go and litchi.b

Nevermind.. After restarting it works to tap the screen
