Best so far seem to be 2 x TP 2700mah 6S 25C. If you have only one plug coming out of your Inspire battery you can get a parallel connector to connect the two aux batteries together to plug in.

It would be 800 grams. Maybe a bit to much for 13" props. What would be good battery weight considering retaining flight caracteristic. I see battery must be high C.
What flight time is to be expected with 2 x 3S tp2700?

Just received my new MaxAmps battery 5550mah in a pyramid configuration, which took some convincing on my part to have them build it, but they finally agreed to do it. The actual weight is 702 grams just did a test flight today, it was a little windy but the auxiliary battery drained down to 5%, I flew total 66630 feet, 23 minutes at 100% forward throttle, 6 minutes of which I was in Atti mode. Hit just above 16000 feet distance away before having signal issues. Have not had a chance to test how long at hover yet.

Hi, JOEREZ1XM!

How to make this platform? How it is attached? Sonars removed?

just asking.

So, i give it a try with:

2x SLS APL MAGNUM 3200mAh 3S1P 11,1V 25C/50C

SLS is a small local company with a very good reputation in the scene. I'm curious how they will perform, on my octo they always were one of the best...

Chris
i used SLS batteries on almost all my big birds before, 6k,10k and 20k 6s batteries on hexas they work pretty well they hold they charge very well too. after 200 flights they were ok no puff or anything.

they price is just above Chinese cheap batteries but they behave like top brands that cost x2/x3

But why in German language ?

That's absolutely logic

Yeah but this should not be an excuse in these days, it is 2016 and not 1984! He ships (at least) almost to whole europe, i'm wondering why he hasn't an english shop as an option.

because english would not fix anything in Europe, there is only 1 english speaking country in Europe of 28 countries and 24 different languages.

Don't mix politics with people, with basic English and a little bit of French, Italian or Spanish you can do whatever you want in Europe. I don't care which BS is going on right now, I love to live and the travel through Europe (even as a "hated by everyone" German) :)

Yes, sonar I found for me to be useless, I also don't put into travel mode, but if I do I just put the main battery in lightly not clipped and raise landing gear then just pull the battery at the travel mode level, some might not like that, but I don't mind. I was going for simplicity and weight, the VPS with wire is 32 grams, so I save some weight and use two pieces of dual lock that's all, very simple. I found the MaxAmps 1850mah batteries have the width to fit in between the gimbal bracket, and did a pyramid configuration so I still mount with good center of gravity and clear the gimbal mount. So the single on top fits flush in between and the two below clear the mounts. It is a 6S3P Lipo, the pack came out nice.

I forgot to add it cost me around $315 for that custom battery pack, but it's nice and short, you can see in the picture how close to center it can be mounted and the camera is only effected if shooting directly behind, but if angled down a bit, it's fine.
