damping grease?

did a search on damping grease and could find nothing. I watched a video how to breakdown and put back together a x3, for the repair of mine. In the video it shows to use damping grease around the turn lock mechanism. but I can find out what can be use for damping grease. any clue?

I guess it's something like this lubricant for plastic gears.

Dampening grease is a very common grease in the camera repair industry. Various weights (viscosity) too for fittings that may be too loose like lense helical for focusing.

Make sure it is the synthetic or silicon-based ones as the petroleum ones can destroy plastic. You might find something called Sil-Glyde Lubricant in a tube at local hardware stores too which is fairly thick.
