Mounting Inspire 2 on underside of an R22

Do you guys think this would work? I need a hyperlapse shot that is too far for the inspire 2 to get on its own and I don't have the money to get a proper helicopter gimbal.
 
You would need to have an FAA STC for the R22 when mounting the I2 onto an actual aircraft. To many hoops to jump to be even worth it.
Maybe fly in the R22 and shoot handheld out the door? No STC required for that.
 
I have had guy use osmo with X5R out of my Robinson R44. Only problem is winds much above 50 knots grab the sun shade like a sail and eventually override strength of the gimbals and can cause a lens disconnect. If you just hovering you shouldnt have any problem holding the drone. The above response about attaching the drone to underside requiring STC is correct and would never get approved.
