Storing Inspire with camera attached

Guys

is it feasible (do you?) store your inspire with the camera attached in the original case.

I know you can keep camera on with latest firmware.

Just want to know if its doable before I try it?

Rather learn from others experience than potentially cause damage that can easily be avoided!!

Personally no since I do not like to keep the gasket and connections pins on the gimbal mounting plate under compression the whole time.
I may leave the camera on for a couple of days but that's about it - any longer term storage or for travel I always remove and mount the camera before/after the shoot.
