Article stating google earth is improved

Just wondering if anyone has noticed that it is actually true?

Well, my 10 year old house, as well as my whole neighbourhood and the harbour, still not on google Earth. On Google maps you can see only the outlines and main roads. With Apple Maps I can even spot my Landrover on the drive way and my boats in the harbour.
But that's the Netherlands. Maybe other regions are updated.
