Have any of you tried shooting with these settings?

I've not intensely tested the X5S recording formats, but my previous experience with the X5 at 1080p did lead me to test 1080p @120fps and I found it to be pretty terrible as before. Footage is buttery smooth with the high frame rate, but image quality seriously suffers. Looks very soft and almost blurry without being focus related.

Incredibly dissapointed. Image quality of 4K video is much, much better and unfortunately I don't think the frame rate makes up for the significant drop in image quality for 120fps to be all that usefull in proffesional production.

Individual taste may vary - but I'll be steering clear of anything other than 4K25-60.

I haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to using this setting - but only for action shots that are up close. I'm thinking when the subject I'm recording is only 50ft or less away from the camera. Other than that, I'm with Kyle on this one. The clarity of 4K is just too good. Thankfully, we get 60fps at 4K with the I2.

It's friggin amazing. I was so pissed off that I could only shoot 60p in narrow FOV that I tried the 120fps when I couldn't reframe a shot to accommodate the crop. Silky smooth and lovely for slow pans and it must be awesome for action shots which I don't do. You can only review it in post but it I'm excited to experiment more.

In the meantime I hope that DJI can restore 60 fps in either 1080 or 4k without cropping. I had that in the I1 and used it all the time. Two steps forward, one back.

Then there's the insane 4gig limit on the SSD cards which is a total PITA in post. Same forward/backward progress bar.
