Lens profile missing..what does it do?

My lens (olympus 12mm) is not showing up inside the DJI app.

I saw a thread from last year which said its because the pins on the camera are not connected properly, but mine look ok, and its too scary to go prodding around. I did give it a little prod as per instruction, but it did not do anything, and as I said, the pins don't look bad or anything.

The camera seems to work ok, but I was wondering what benefit I would get from the zen muse recognizing the correct lens, and am I losing anything due to this not showing up?

I have the same problem while I am using IOS DJI Go Apps 3.1.1 but the lens profile will show up on Android device with Go apps 3.1.1, so I am guessing that is just software bugs after upgarding the IOS Go apps
