Not a lot new, but some bits that will make a few folks happy

DJI Go App: iOS V 4.0.7, Android V 4.0.6

 Optimized No-Fly Zone Return to Home and unlocking.
 Reduced high-frequency vibration after gimbal self-checking.
 Added an option to control gimbal pan by holding the C1 button and rotating the control dial in Follow
Mode.
 When exiting an Intelligent Flight Mode, the gimbal will no longer center itself.

Anyone here going to use the Assistant mode verses the DJI GO App?

Just updated using the Assistant. All went ok, and it seems to give you the option to downgrade. Just have to test fly now.

Cool. I wish there was a way to disable the beeps during the upgrade.

Test flight went well, although it just started raining here in Ireland, so I'll have to wait 'till later to do a more extensive flight test. Didn't fix the 'red prop' issue though. Lol.

The firmware release notes have fixed my red prop rattle issue

.... I printed them out, cut a bit out and stuffed it under the props. They don't rattle any more

Hmmmm, wonder if they reduced the speed again. Can't tell anything by reading the release notes just like the last time!!

My top speed this morning was 99.5Kph. I did have a tailwind though.

One of the speed issues from the .240 firmware seemed to be that you could consistently go faster in ATTI than in sport, & that seemed to be at the root of the speed reduction problem. So if you want to see if it's back to pre .240 behaviour, see how fast you can get to in sport up n downwind, then try it again in ATTI and see if you get slower or faster speeds that way.
